Removing
1. Remove the wheel.
2. Clean the steering gear in the area of the bellows.
3. Separate the crimp and spring clamps, move the boot back.
4. Remove the tip from the rod, while loosening the locknut, hold the tip of the steering rod with a wrench.
5. Unscrew the tie rod from the rack using a wrench.
Tie rod installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Tighten the tie rod with a socket wrench.
Check the cleanliness of the sealing surfaces of the bellows and check the bellow itself for cracks and damage.
Install bellows and clamping collar.
Attention! Only original clamps must be used.
Using special pliers for steering mechanisms, crimp the clamping clamp, as shown in the figure.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
After installation, check the wheel alignment.
Carry out basic setting of the angle encoder (G85) using a tester.
