Removal
1. Remove the wheel.
2. Clean the steering gear in the area of the corrugated boot.
3. Disconnect the compression and spring clamps, move the boot back.
4. Remove the tip from the rod; while loosening the lock nut, hold the tip of the steering rod with a wrench.

5. Unscrew the tie rod from the toothed rack using a socket on the wrench.
Installing the tie rod
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Tighten the tie rod using a wrench socket.
Check the cleanliness of the sealing surfaces of the corrugated cover and check the cover itself for cracks and damage.

Install the corrugated boot and clamp.
Caution! Use only original clamps.
Using special pliers for steering gears, crimp the clamp as shown in the figure.

Further installation is carried out in reverse order.
After installation, the wheel alignment angles should be checked.
Perform basic installation of the steering angle sensor (G85) using a tester.
