Rotary pump for hydraulic power steering

When the working fluid starts to drain from the tank, it is usually necessary to check the tightness of the system.

If there is a leak in the area where the tubes are connected, you must first check the tightness of the lines and their connections and tighten them if necessary.

Please note: Pumps supplied as spare parts do not contain oil. Therefore, before installation, be sure to fill the pump with G 002 000 Hydraulikol and rotate it by hand, otherwise noise may occur during operation or the pump may be damaged.

Repair of the rotary pump is not provided.

Removal

1. Clamp hoses (3) and (4) with hose clamps (see figure VC6.017).

2. Loosen the tension of the poly V-belt.

3. Disconnect hoses (3) and (4).

4. Collect the leaking oil in a container.

5. Unscrew the bolts (9) and remove the pump.
