Turn the steering wheel to any side until it stops. The joints are firmly seated in the plastic inserts of the steering arms, filled with long-term grease. They are protected from moisture and dirt by plastic covers (Fig. 5.4).
Penetrating metal chips, sand and moisture can lead to corrosion and destruction of the hinge.
Check the condition of the covers on the hinges. If cracks or damage are found, replace them.
