Note: The description of removal and installation is given only for the left mirror. Removal and installation of the right mirror are performed similarly.
Removal
Remove the mirror glass.
To simplify installation, fold the mirror forward.
The internal fixing hook 2 is not accessible from the front.

Insert a wedge between the mirror housing and the turn signal. This will unlock the locking hooks 2 (Fig. 8.9).
Pull the mirror housing slightly forward from the mirror base.
After this, remove the mirror housing 1 from the base upwards.
Installation
Place mirror housing 1 on the base and press the housing down so that the locking hooks 2 click into place with a corresponding sound.

Install the mirror glass back into place.
