To open the lockable lid, lift the latch.
Cooled box
On cars with air conditioning or with the "Climatronic" system, there is an air supply nozzle in the box through which cooled air enters (only when the refrigeration unit is on).
The amount of air supplied can be adjusted using the rotating nozzle.
