Checking and adjusting the angle of the windshield wiper arm

• 1 - wrench,
• 2 - windshield wiper lever,
• 3 - tool VW 3358

The windshield wiper arm angle should be checked when the glass cleaning efficiency is low or when there is noise when the wipers are operating.

Execution order

1. Turn the windshield wipers on and off, the wiper arms will return to their original position. Remove the wiper blades.

2. Insert the windscreen wiper arm (1) into the HAZET 4851-1 or VW 3358 tool and secure with the bolt, see Fig. Checking and adjusting the angle of the windscreen wiper arm.

3. If adjustment is necessary, carefully turn the VW 3358 tool with the spanner (1) until the pointer on the scale is at the required value ±2°.
