Order of execution
1. Check for fuel in the tank.
2. Check for moisture on electrical components under the hood.
3. Turn off the ignition, then wipe the wet components with a dry cloth.
4. Apply water repellent spray (WD-40 or equivalent) to electrical connectors. Pay special attention to the ignition coil wiring connector and high voltage wires. Diesel engines do not usually suffer from this disease.
