Check that there is fuel in the tank.
Check for moisture on electrical components under the hood. Turn off the ignition, then wipe wet components with a dry cloth. Apply a water-repellent spray (WD-40 or equivalent) on electrical connectors. Pay special attention to the ignition coil wiring connector and high-voltage wire. Diesel engines usually do not suffer from this "disease".
