Tire pressure (VW Passat B4)

Check tire pressure at least once a month and before each long trip on cold tires. Required tire pressure, kgf/cm²:

• cars with engines of the models "EZ" and "1Y": 2.0 (tires 165/70 R14: 2.2);
• cars with model engines "RP", "RA" and "SB": 2.1;
• cars with engines of the models "PB" and "2E": 2.2;
• cars with engines of the models "KR" and "9A": 2.4.

Replace tires when the tread depth decreases to 1.6 mm or when the wear indicator appears on the tread.
