- 1 - Replacement air filter element
- 2 - upper part of the air filter housing
- 3 - Hexagon head bolt, 5 Nm
- 4 - sealing gasket

To remove, press on the wire stopper.
- 7 - cork
- 8 - screw for adjusting CO content

- 10 - clamp tightened with a screw

To the pressure regulator/throttle valve branch pipe splitter.

Location: Under the brass fitting.

To the outlet pipe.
Replace the air filter element every 30,000 km. In case of high dust content, replace the filter element at shorter intervals. The operating procedures are the same for all injection systems.
Removal
Release the 4 quick release clamps on the filter housing by hand.
Raise the top of the filter housing slightly.

Pull the replacement air filter element up slightly, unfasten it from the bottom of the filter housing and pull it to the side.
Wipe the filter housing with a cloth. O If the replaceable filter element is slightly dirty, turn the dirty side down and knock it out carefully. Replace an oily filter in any case.
Caution: Do not clean the filter element with gasoline or wet it with oil. Do not blow the filter with compressed air.
Installation
Insert the new replacement filter element into the air filter housing sideways with the stiffening bar facing up. Use the stiffening bar to firmly press the filter element against the cuff of the lower part of the filter housing.
Place the top of the filter housing and secure with quick-release clamps.
