Removal
Remove the wheel drive shaft as described above.
Remove the clamping clamps and the protective cover of the hinge.
Clamp the wheel drive shaft in a vice with soft pads.
Press the outer joint off the shaft using a bronze drift on the hub.
Installation
Clean the removed hinge parts and check their condition.
Place about 90 g of bearing grease into the joint.
Install a new retaining ring on the shaft.
Using a plastic-headed hammer, press the joint onto the shaft until the retaining ring fits into the joint groove.
Replace the hinge cover and secure it with new clamps.
Install the wheel drive shaft.
