Oil sump
Before each trip or every 500 km, check the oil level in the engine oil sump with an oil dipstick. The oil level must be between the marks «max» and «Min», and at high loads on the engine (when towing a trailer, driving on the freeway in the summer, etc.) - as close to the mark as possible «maxi».
The vehicle must be on level ground when checking the oil level. To obtain an accurate result, check the oil level approximately 10 minutes after stopping the engine to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.
The maximum allowable oil consumption according to the manufacturer's standards is 1.5 liters per 1000 kilometers.
Change the oil in the engine crankcase every 15,000 km or at least once a year. Oil change intervals are reduced under severe vehicle operating conditions.
Oil filter
Change the oil filter every 15,000 km.
Before installing a new filter, clean the seating surface of the sealing ring on the cylinder block and lubricate the ring with engine oil.
After installing a new oil filter, start the engine, warm it up to operating temperature and make sure that the filter connection is tight, then stop the engine and check the oil level with the dipstick.
