Adjusting the front wheel alignment angles (VW Passat B2)

Before checking and adjusting the wheel alignment angles, it is necessary to:

• place the car on a level surface;
• check the air pressure in the tires and, if necessary, bring it up to standard;
• make sure there is no excessive play in the steering and front suspension joints;
• eliminate the detected faults;
• "squeeze" the suspension.
