Attention! Every second time the wiper motor is switched off, it is set to the parking position, which ensures that the working edge of the brushes is turned in the opposite direction.


After switching off, the electric motor moves to the parking position and then slightly moves the brushes upward.

This motor stroke cannot be used to adjust or check the windshield wiper crank.

The initial position of the electric motor is used for testing.

If necessary, the glass wiper switch can be pressed again.

1. Set the windshield wiper to the parking position.

2. Turn off the ignition.

3. Measure the distance between the wiper blade rubber and the windshield seal (see illustration).

If necessary, remove the brush holders and adjust their position.
