Attention! Every second time the wiper motor is switched off, it is set to the parking position, which ensures that the working edge of the brushes is turned in the opposite direction.
After switching off, the electric motor moves to the parking position and then slightly moves the brushes upward.
This motor stroke cannot be used to adjust or check the windshield wiper crank.
The initial position of the electric motor is used for testing.
If necessary, the glass wiper switch can be pressed again.

1. Set the windshield wiper to the parking position.
2. Turn off the ignition.
3. Measure the distance between the wiper blade rubber and the windshield seal (see illustration).

Nominal dimensions: Distance a/b = 0-10 mm.
If necessary, remove the brush holders and adjust their position.

4. Set the windshield wiper to the parking position by turning it on and off.

5. Measure the distance between the rubber band of the wiper blade and the lower edge of the rear window (see illustration).

Nominal dimensions: Distance a = 15+5 mm.
If necessary, remove the brush holder and adjust its position.

6. Set the windshield wiper to the parking position by turning it on and off.
7. Measure the distance between the rubber band of the brush and the top edge of the fairing box (see illustration).

Nominal dimensions:
- Distance A = 60 mm;
- Distance B = 16 mm.
If necessary, remove the brush holders and adjust their position.

8. Set the windshield wiper to the parking position by turning it on and off.
9. Measure the distance between the rubber band of the wiper blade and the lower edge of the rear window (see illustration).

Nominal dimensions: Distance a = 25 mm.
If necessary, remove the brush holder and adjust its position.
