ONLY CARS WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM
The automatic control system, with the ignition on and while driving, constantly monitors the performance of certain functions and the condition of individual components of the vehicle.
Any malfunctions in operation, as well as the urgent need for a certain repair or maintenance, are indicated by an audible signal and, depending on the severity of the malfunction or necessary repair, a red or yellow light pictogram on the instrument panel.
In addition, a text message appears on the display to confirm the red or yellow light icons.
These text messages in the illustrations are shown in German. Depending on the country for which the vehicle is prepared, the text messages and the corresponding instructions for the driver may also be in one of the following languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese.
