Generator

- 1 - poly V-belt;
- 2 - generator;
- 3 - voltage regulator;
- 4 - screws;
- 5 - protective cover;
- 6 - screws;
- 7 - bolts 50, Nm;
- 8 - bolts 50, Nm;
- 9 - bracket;
- 10 - tension roller;
- 11 - bolts, 45 Nm
Removal
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Loosen the tension and remove the poly V-belt.
3. From the back of the generator, disconnect the thick (B+) and thin (D+) wires from the generator terminals.
4. Unscrew the bolts (11) securing the generator to the bracket and remove the generator.
Installation
1. Place the generator on the bracket and secure it with bolts.
2. Check the condition of the poly V-belt and replace it if necessary.
3. Install the poly V-belt and adjust its tension.
4. Connect the wires to the generator.
Warning: Screw the thick wire (B+) to the generator with a torque of 15±1 Nm. If the wire is not securely fastened, the following faults may occur:
- battery not fully charged;
- insufficient current to supply consumers;
- sparking is possible at the point where the wire is connected;
- due to voltage surges, electronic units may fail.
5. Secure the blue wire (D+) to the generator with a torque of 3.2±0.2 Nm.
6. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
