Connecting a hose to remove gases from the battery that are generated during its operation

Execution order
Warning: When installing the battery, do not pinch the hose designed to remove gases released during battery operation (see figure Connecting a hose to remove gases from the battery that are generated during its operation). There is a valve in the gas outlet hose that protects the battery from backfire.
1. Install one side of the battery onto the support bracket (see picture Battery fastening elements).

2. When installing the battery, make sure that the locking tab (1) on the base of the battery fits into the groove of the support bracket (shown by arrow).
3. On the other side, secure the battery with a mounting plate and screw it with a bolt, tightening it to a torque of 20 Nm.
4. Check that the battery is securely fastened, otherwise the battery life may be significantly reduced.
5. Connect the cable tip to the positive battery terminal and tighten the terminal mounting bolt to 6 Nm. Install the fuse holder housing onto the battery, with the conductive strip positioned on the positive battery terminal mounting bolt.
6. Secure the fuse holder housing to the battery housing.
7. Screw the bolt that secures the conductive plate to the positive battery terminal.

8. Install the fuses into the fuse holder.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the fuse holder.
10. Connect the ground wire to the battery and tighten the mounting bolt to 6 Nm.
11. If your vehicle has a radio with a code, reprogram it.
12. Set the time on the clock.
13. Activate the power windows:
- lock the car from the outside through the driver's door or the front passenger door. Make sure that the windows and doors are securely closed;
- re-lock the vehicle with the key, holding the key in the closed position for at least 1 second.
Warning: If there is a defect in the electric windows, the backlight of the control buttons on the door will flash.
