Checking the oil level in the engine crankcase
To check the oil level in the engine crankcase, locate in the engine compartment (pic. 29) loop on the dipstick shaft and remove it. The oil level should be between the two marks on the dipstick. Top up with the correct brand of oil if necessary. The distance between the marks corresponds to a volume of approximately one liter of oil.
Checking the coolant level
Coolant level in expansion tank (pic. thirty) must be between the marks «maxi» and «mini». Check every 1000 km.
Checking the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir
The brake fluid level must be maintained so that the low fluid level alarm switch on the instrument panel does not operate. If necessary, add DOT3 or DOT4 approved brake fluid. Change the fluid every 60,000 km or 2 years of operation.
Checking the Fluid Level in an Automatic Transmission
Start the engine and with the vehicle stationary with the parking brake applied, sequentially move the gear selector lever through all positions. Check the oil level, which should be at the mark «60». Add or remove oil if necessary.
