Gear and fuel consumption indicator (VW Golf 2)
On the indicator (figure 24) the arrow in the middle of the scale lights up at the recommended moments of shifting to the next gear (manual transmissions). The unlit arrow indicates the approximate fuel consumption corresponding to a specific vehicle speed.
