Replacing the bulb in the fog light under the bumper (VW Golf 1)

At the bottom near the headlight, unscrew the headlight insert mounting bolt.

Remove the insert and disconnect the part of the wire leading to the incandescent lamp.

Remove the retaining wire clip and set it aside.

Pull out the lamp.

Insert the new lamp so that it fits precisely into the grooves.

First insert the headlight insert into the housing from above, and use a yogi to securely tighten the threaded connections.
