Turn on the ignition, then check the operation of the following devices one by one:
- parking lighting: low beam, fog lamps. high beam, additional high beam headlights:
- direction indicator front right and left. as well as alarms;
- reversing light; lamps for lighting the rear license plate and, if any, the rear fog lamp;
- alarm rear, right and left: direction indicator.
Have an assistant depress the brake pedal to check the brake lights.
Spare lamps for the road
The following spare light bulbs should be available:
- double filament lamp 45/40 Vg according to DIN standard. form A ("ordinary" main form) or
- halogen single filament lamp 114, 60/65 W according to DIN standard, form YD (main headlight; mark on the lamp glass "H4");
- O H3 single filament halogen lamp: 55W DIN, YC style (fog lamp and if necessary, an additional high beam headlight);
- spherical lamp 21 W according to DIN standard, form RL (for flashing pointer front and rear; light stop signal lamps; headlights that illuminate the path when the car is reversing; rear fog lamp);
- 5 W spherical lamp according to DIN standard, form G (rear light);
- tubular lamp 4 W according to DIN standard, form HL (parking lights, rear license plate lamps).
