POLO License Plate Light
Removal
Turn off the ignition and turn off the light using the switch.
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Attention: Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Unscrew the screws securing the "arrow", remove the license plate light from the rear door and disconnect the plug connector.
Remove the spotlight from the holder.
Installation
Insert a new spotlight into the holder.
Connect the plug connector, insert the license plate light and secure with screws. Make sure that the silver anti-glare strips are facing forward when looking in the direction of travel of the vehicle. See also the adjacent light.
IBIZA Number Plate Light
Removal
Turn off the ignition and turn off the light using the switch.
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Attention: Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Using one screwdriver "1", press the projection of the locking spring towards the lamp, and slide the other screwdriver "2" under the tongue of the locking spring and release the locking spring "3".
Remove the lamp diffuser from the bumper casing, and if necessary, press the diffuser towards the diffuser located opposite.
Remove the spotlight from the holder.
Installation
Insert a new spotlight into the holder.
Insert the license plate light and secure it with an audible click.
