POLO
Removal
Turn off the ignition and turn off the light using the switch.
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Attention: Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Open the back door and remove the lower and upper rear door trim.
Remove the screws and pull the additional brake light upwards from the rear door.
Disconnect the additional brake light connector.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Replacing an incandescent light bulb
Remove the additional brake light.
Press down the 3 "arrow" plates and disconnect the lamp holder from the lamp.
Use pointed tweezers to remove the defective lamp from the lamp holder and replace it.
Only IBIZA
Open the rear door and remove the rubber cap from the top center of the door.
Remove the additional brake light plug connector from the hole and disconnect it.
Remove the 4 spoiler mounting bolts and carefully detach the spoiler from the rear door.
Unscrew the mounting screws from the rear side of the spoiler and remove the additional brake light from the spoiler.
When installing, make sure that the wire guide pin enters the door receiver.
