Attention! Depending on the equipment and in order to facilitate access, it is sometimes necessary to tilt the radiator forward (see subsection 2.2).
Replacement and tension
1. Loosen the fixing screws (1) tension bar (A) and alternator for about one revolution (B - tension nut).
Attention! The generator must be easily movable. This means that it must lean to the side under its own weight.
2. Turn tension nut (IN) to the left, loosening and removing the V-belt.
3. Put on the V-belt.
4. Turn the tensioning nut to the right and tension the V-belt. The belt is tensioned correctly if the old belt is tensioned with a torque of 4 Nm applied to the tension nut, for a new belt - 8 Nm. While holding the nut in this position, tighten the fastening screw 1 with a torque of 35 Nm.
Attention! To tighten the tension nut, a torque wrench with a socket size of 22 mm is required. It is also possible to use the HAZET 2593-22 open end socket in combination with a torque wrench and a strongly curved 13 mm ring wrench.
5. Tighten the mounting bolts "Supported generator" moment 35 N·m, and "Tension eye on the cylinder head" torque 20 Nm.
