2. In order to make sure that the lamp is in good condition, proceed as follows: connect the positive wire (+) and negative wire (-) directly to the battery terminals and connect to the lamp. It does not matter how the wires are connected to the lamp. One cable to the contact, the second to the lamp body. If the lamp does not light, replace.
Attention! Make sure that the contacts on the lamp and the lamp frame are not dirty. If necessary, clean dirty contacts, straighten bent ones.
3. If the lamp is OK, install and turn on. If the lamp does not light, check the power supply with a test lamp. To do this, attach a test lamp to the ground. This means: that one end of the signal lamp cable must be connected to the engine ground (pure metal) or directly to the negative battery terminal. Second wire (+) or to a conductive plug or cable. If the control lamp lights up, but the lamp under test does not, then there is an open in the lamp ground wire. In order to check this, attach an additional ground wire to the lamp frame. The lamp should now be on.
Attention! There are lamps that have only one supply current conductor, for example parking light, interior lighting. These lamps are directly connected to the ground of the machine.
4. If there is no voltage in the current supply cable of the lamp, the control lamp will not light up. In this case, the switch is most likely defective. Check switch.
