Adjusting the size of the air damper gap is carried out after a complete overhaul of the carburetor or in case of poor engine acceptance and in case of transient disturbances. A vacuum gauge is required to adjust the air damper gap.
Remove the starter cover.
Operate the throttle valve and turn the stepped washer -1- so that the adjusting screw -2- is on the step of the washer.
With the adjusting screw -1-, press the choke rod as far as it will go in the direction of the Pulldown membrane.
In this position, check the size of the air damper gap, if necessary, adjust with the screw -1-. Set value see table "Carburetor basic data".
