            0

The Pulldown device is used in the carburetor to ensure that when the air damper is closed (cold engine starting system works) when giving gas, slightly open the air damper. Opening is done in two stages. Opening is done by a vacuum, which is created in a separate container. If the Pulldown device fails, an over-enriched mixture is supplied to the engine. This causes malfunctions during the warm-up process.

Remove the air filter.

Start the engine and let it run at idle speed.

if the air damper can be moved easily to a gap size of about 3.0-3.5 mm and then a noticeable resistance appears, the Pulldown device is working properly.

If the air damper closes completely without resistance, either the diaphragm is torn or the vacuum system is leaky. Have the Pulldown device checked for leaks.

Install the air filter.
