The brake piping system, which together with the flexible hoses forms the connection from the master cylinder to the four wheel brakes, uses pipes.

Pipe connections to brake cylinders and distribution units are made in the form of conical couplings.

The ends of the pipes are compressed and form a cone-shaped mating surface for the similarly shaped cut holes in the brake cylinders and distribution units. Before the ends of the pipes are compressed, a pipe nut is placed on the pipe, which, when screwed in, presses the cone-shaped surface of the pipe against the receiving hole and thus creates a reliable seal.

Brake hoses form flexible connections between stationary and moving parts of the vehicle.

Replacing brake lines

The perfect condition of the brake pipes should be checked every 15,000 km. At the same time, the greatest attention should be paid to the absence of mechanical damage, traces of stone impacts and the formation of rust.
