Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector 3 "G495" "1" (fixed behind the holder). Disconnect the connectors from the holders and remove the cables from the holders on the front wall of the water drain box "2" and the turbocharger.
Disconnect the connector, unscrew bolt "2" and remove the bracket of the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450", including the sensor by moving it in the direction of travel. Unscrew the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" from the bracket. Place the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" on the diesel particulate filter. Remove the lambda probe "G39". Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 "G495" using a set of tools for 17 "T10395".
Unscrew the "arrow" mounting bolt on the upper bracket of the particulate filter. Remove the soundproofing tray. Remove the 4 exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 "G648" using a set of tools for 17 "T10395".
Loosen clamp "1" connecting the particulate filter and turbocharger. Unscrew the nuts securing the particulate filter to the bracket using the open-end ratchet wrench "T10384".
Unscrew the nuts securing the "arrow" of the particulate filter bracket "A" on the crankcase and remove the bracket.

Unscrew bolts "1" of heat shield "A" above the right drive shaft and remove the shield. Secure the detachable element of the front part of the exhaust system with the transport protection device "T10404". Loosen the fastening clamp on the exhaust pipe. Do not remove the clamp. Remove the heat shield under the vehicle tunnel. Move the fastening clamp in the direction of the exhaust pipe. Rotate the diesel particulate filter with the help of a 2nd mechanic so that it can be removed downwards. Do not damage the wires or other components.
Installation
Secure the detachable element of the front section of the exhaust system with the transport lock "T10404". Rotate the diesel particulate filter with the 2nd mechanic so that it can be inserted upwards into the work space. Do not damage the wires or other components. Move the double clamp to the correct position on the exhaust pipe. Install the lower bracket of the diesel particulate filter on the crankcase and tighten the fastening nut by hand. Install the diesel particulate filter on the bracket. Screw in the fastening bolt on the upper bracket of the diesel particulate filter by hand. Install the lambda probe "G39". Install the 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 "G495" using the 17-mm tool kit "T10395". Install the 4 exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 "G648" using the 17-mm tool kit "T10395". Pull the electrical cables of the temperature sensors upwards. Install the clamp on the turbocharger in the correct position and tighten it. Tighten the mounting bolts in the following sequence.
1. Lower bracket of the diesel particulate filter to the engine block.
2. Diesel particulate filter to the lower bracket, use the open-end ratchet wrench "T10384".
3. Diesel particulate filter to the upper bracket.
Install the drive shaft heat shield. Install the exhaust pipe hanger on the subframe. Tighten the exhaust system double clamp.
