Instructions: Checking: using the tester -VAS 5051B- (or the subsequent model)
- 1 - Temperature control flap drive
- 2 - Bracket
- 3 - Casing
- 4 - Actuating electric motor for supply ventilation and air recirculation dampers "V154"
- 5 - Air intake housing with recirculation flap
- 6 - Heater
- 7 - Supply fan "V2"
- 8 - Ballast resistance of the supply fan with overheating protection "N₂4"
- 9 - Cabin filter
- 10 - Cabin filter cover
- 11 - Heat exchanger
- 12 - Heat exchanger casing
- 13 - Heating element of additional air heater "Z35". In this case, a heating element of additional air heater "Z35" with three heating stages is installed, controlled via a relay from the engine control unit, it is installed only on cars with diesel engines not equipped with an additional heater
- 14 - Air distributor housing
- 15 - Air damper drive
Removal and installation the air distributor housing
Remove the heater. Disconnect all electrical connectors from the distributor housing. Remove the heat exchanger together with the coolant hoses. Unscrew the screws "arrow" (1.4 Nm). Disconnect the air distributor housing "1" from the heater "2".
Disassembly and assembly of the heater
Remove the heater. Remove the air distributor housing. Remove clamp "2" and unscrew the bolts "arrow" from the heater. Separate the heater into parts.
