Instructions: Below is a description of the work on removing and installing the right door glass guide. The left door glass guide is removed and installed in a similar manner. Do not bend the glass seal when removing!
Removal the glass seal
Instructions: Do not bend the glass seal when removing.
Remove the rear view mirror Starting from the rear glass guide "arrow a", carefully lift the seal "1". Remove the seal "1" from the door flanging "2" without deforming it "arrows b".
Removal the overlay
The rear view mirror and glass seal are removed. Remove the door glass. Remove the glass guide "2" "arrow a". Unscrew the screws "1" and remove the trim "3" in the direction of the B-pillar "arrow b".
Installation
Check spring clips "5", seal "4" and gaskets "3" for damage and integrity. Replace the part if necessary. Insert cover "1" "arrow a" into the window frame. Lightly press the cover down "arrow b". Tighten screws "2" to 2 Nm. Insert guide "6" into the socket.
Removal the guide
The rear view mirror, glass seal and trim are removed. Remove the glass guide "1" from the front and rear sockets "2" "arrows".
In case of a guide with molding
Slightly press the guide "1" at the back in the upper part of "4" to the side. Remove the retainer "3".
All guides
Bend the sealing edge of the guide "1" from the inside away from the window frame "5". Remove the guide from the door frame "2" without bending it "arrows b", starting from the rear part "arrow a".
