If both the fuel gauge and coolant temperature gauge are giving incorrect readings, the cause may be a faulty voltage regulator (for more details, see. in chapters 2 and 10).
1. Figure 3.3 shows the procedure for connecting the fuel hose and electrical wiring to a sensor that is not combined with the fuel pump.

2. In the case of the latest models, in which the fuel level sensor is combined with the fuel pump, the sensor has an electrical connector and 3 pipes for connecting the fuel hoses (see figure 3.4).

3. Removal of both types of sensors is described in paragraph 6 of the previous section. Please note that on van models the sensor can only be removed after removing the fuel tank (see section 7).
4. The sensor is installed in reverse order.
