Air Cleaner — maintenance, removal and installation (VW Lt 28)

1. With the frequency specified in the section "Routine maintenance" at the beginning of this Guide, you should do the following:

remove the engine cover and unscrew the nut on the end cover of the air cleaner (see photo).



2. Remove the end cover.

3. Unscrew the nut securing the air filter and pull out the filter (see photos).







4. Blow the filter with compressed air from the inside out.

5 Wipe the air cleaner housing clean and replace the filter.

6. At the frequency specified in the section "Routine maintenance" at the beginning of this manual, the air filter should be replaced. When installing a new filter, check that the filter extension gasket is in good condition.

7. To completely remove the air cleaner, you must disconnect the air preheating channel from the casing on the exhaust manifold.

8. Disconnect the air intake ducts from the carburetor and cold air intake (see photos).

9. Loosen the air cleaner retaining clip and remove the air cleaner from the engine compartment (see photo).



10. Installation of the air purifier is carried out in reverse order.
