Caution! Hot steam may escape when opening the expansion tank. To avoid eye injuries and burns, you must work with protective glasses and special clothing. The lid should be covered with a cloth and carefully opened.

Attention!
  • When the engine is hot, the fluid in the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary, relieve pressure before repair.
  • The hose connections are secured with spring clamps. When making repairs, only spring clamps should be used.
  • For installation of spring clamps it is recommended to use pliers for spring clamps.
  • When installing, you need to route the cooling system hoses without stretching them. Make sure they do not touch other components (in accordance with the markings on the radiator nipple and hose).

Carefully!

When performing installation work, especially in the engine compartment due to its dense layout, the following rules must be observed.
  • Highways of all types (fuel, hydraulic, fuel vapor recovery systems, coolant, refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum) and the wires should be arranged in the original order provided by the manufacturer (using appropriate fastening elements).
  • To avoid damage to hoses, tubes or wires, ensure adequate clearance when working on all moving or hot parts.
