Removal



1. Drain the coolant.

2. Remove the poly V-belt.

3. Then remove the main drive toothed belt.

4. Remove the guide roller (6) by unscrewing the fastening screw (5).

Attention! The guide roller (6) is installed only on engines with the letter designation BSA.


5. Unscrew the screws (1) and (4) and remove the rear part of the timing drive casing (2) and the coolant pump(3).

Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order, and the following instructions must be observed.

1. Install the coolant pump (3) into the cylinder block and install the rear timing belt cover by tightening the screws (4).

2. Tighten the screws (4) to a torque of 20 Nm and the screws (1) to a torque of 10 Nm.

3. Install the diverter roller (6) and tighten the screw (5) to a torque of 50 Nm.

4. Install the timing belt and adjust the tensioner.

5. Install the poly V-belt.

6. Fill with coolant.
