Note: On the AXU engine with direct fuel injection, the pressure can only be released in this way in the low-pressure circuit (up to about 5 bar). To relieve pressure in the high pressure circuit (up to approximately 100 bar) special equipment required.
The high-pressure circuit starts from the high-pressure pump flanged at the rear of the cylinder head and ends at the injectors.
- No open flames, no smoking, no hot or very hot parts near the work area. Risk of accident! Have a fire extinguisher ready.
- Be sure to provide good ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are toxic.

Diesel engine injection system
The diesel engine injection system is fully electronically controlled by the engine management system. Advantages:
- Self-diagnosis of the engine management system allows for quick detection of defects.
- Precise dosing of the amount of fuel at each load mode, resulting in reduced harmful emissions from exhaust gases and low fuel consumption.
- Adjustment of idle speed and governor limited speed is no longer required.
The engine control system units operate stably for a long time and require virtually no maintenance. The exceptions are the replaceable air filter element and the fuel filter, which must be replaced as part of maintenance.
