6 - fuel manifold with injectors
7 - bolt, 20 Nm
8 - bolt, 20 Nm
9 - intake manifold
10 - oxygen sensor 1, 50 Nm
Installed in front of the catalytic converter. Before installation, apply VW-G 052 112 AZ grease to the thread.
Attention: Grease must not get on the splines of the sensor housing.
11 - plug connector
For oxygen sensor 1 (before the catalytic converter), heated, 6-pin, black, gold-plated pins 3 and 4.
12 - oxygen sensor 2, 50 Nm
Installed after the catalytic converter. Before installing, apply VW-G5 grease to the threads. Attention: Grease must not get on the splines of the sensor housing.
13 - plug connector
For oxygen sensor 2 (after catalytic converter), 4-pin, black.
14 - bolts, 10 Nm
15 - coolant temperature sensor
For engine control unit, with sensor for coolant temperature gauge. Connection color: green. Depressurize the cooling system if necessary before removing.
16 - sealing ring
Replace if damaged.
17 - clamp
Check the security of fastening.
18 - bolts, 10 Nm
19 - thermostat housing
20 - clamp
Check the security of fastening.
21 - connecting plugs
Attention: Disconnect and connect plug connectors only when the ignition is switched off.
22 - engine control unit
When replacing the control unit, it must be coordinated with the anti-theft system.
23 - holder for the engine control unit
24 - screws, 5 Nm
25 - fitting for removing air
26 - O-rings
Always replace. Lubricate with fresh engine oil before installation.
27 - nozzle

29 - fuel supply fitting
Black with white markings.
