Removal



1 Remove the main timing belt.

2 Secure the crankshaft toothed pulley (1) to the crankshaft with the old screw (2).

3. Set the crankshaft to the TDC position of cylinder No. 1.

4. The missing tooth on the timing pulley must align with the mark on the oil pump (arrow).

Caution! This installation places the crankshaft in the oil pump mounting position. One of the four cam lobes on the driven disc hub on the crankshaft must be at the top.




6. Remove the main drive toothed belt tension roller.

7. Remove the oil pan.

8. Remove the oil receiver.

9. Remove the crankshaft toothed pulley.

10. Remove the oil pump.

11. Remove the gasket.

12. Remove any remaining sealant from the cylinder block using a flat scraper.

13. Clean the seating surfaces; there should be no oil or grease on them.

Installation



Installation conditions

1. Install the mounting fixture (1) on the crankshaft and tighten the screw by hand.

2. Install a new gasket onto the centering bushings (A).

3. Align the arrow mark (A) of the inner rotor of the oil pump with the installation position mark arrow (B) of the oil pump housing cover.

4. Lubricate all four cams of the crankshaft driven disk hub with oil.

5. Lightly lubricate the working lip of the crankshaft oil seal with oil.

6. Carefully install the oil pump onto the camshaft driven disk hub cams.

7. If necessary, slightly turn the inner rotor in relation to the cams of the crankshaft driven disk hub.

8 Carefully install the oil pump onto the centering bushings.

9. Secure the oil pump with new screws. Tightening torque: 12 Nm.

10. Remove the tool bushing.

11. Install the oil receiver.

12. Install the oil pan.

13. Install the tension roller of the main timing belt.
