Wheel approval or refitting to non-original rims is not possible with the included component permit.
Tubeless radial tyres may only be used on rims with tapered flanges and a safety shoulder, such as a round hump.
When using the above combinations of wheels and tires, it is necessary to maintain the appropriate tire pressure. The air pressure for summer tires is indicated on the sticker on the inside of the fuel filler flap or in the table for the specific vehicle.
Sufficient clearance of wheels and tyres to wheel arch elements, suspension and brakes is guaranteed if the instructions specified in the component permit are observed under all operating conditions.
In the absence of any additional information, anti-skid chains may only be installed on the drive wheels. However, on all-wheel drive vehicles, anti-skid chains may only be installed on the front wheels, and on Touareg also on the back.
The front and rear axles should be fitted with the same size tyres and rims. All-wheel drive vehicles should be fitted with tyres of the same manufacturer and tread profile.
