Removing
1. Before removing the battery, turn off the ignition and disconnect all current consumers.
2. Squeeze the fuse holder cover on both sides and fold it aside.
3. Unscrew and remove the negative cable from the battery (1) (see fig. Location of the fuse holder above the battery).
4. Loosen the positive wire.
5. Flip out the front clip first and then the back clip from the battery. To do this, the clamps should be slightly squeezed from the battery.
6. Pull up the fuse holder together with the positive cable from the battery.
7. Remove the bolt securing the battery and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation
1. When installing the battery, make sure that the ignition and all current consumers are turned off.
2. Install the battery in its place and secure it with a bolt. At the same time, make sure that the toe of the battery mount coincides with the recess intended for it.
3. Slide the fuse holder, along with the positive wire, onto the battery until the clips snap into place on the longer side of the battery.
4. Tighten the positive wire nut securely.
5. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
6. Replace the fuse holder cover and secure both spring clips.
