After pressing the lock switch E, the memory system is deactivated. The seat and mirrors can only be set manually. By pressing the lock switch E again, the memory system is reactivated. However, the interrupted memory setting process is not continued.
We recommend that the memory system be switched off using the locking switch E when the vehicle is temporarily driven by a driver whose individual seat and mirror settings have not been stored in the memory.
Emergency shutdown
If necessary, you can interrupt the process of setting the settings stored in memory by pressing the lock switch E (unfix it), one of the memory keys or one of the seat adjustment switches.
