Removal the engine hood

Place rags at the rear corners of the hood so that if the hood slips onto the fenders, it does not come into contact with the metal or bodywork.

On the right and left, unscrew two locking bolts of the hinges: remove the hood.

The engine hood hinges are located on pins and secured with clamps.

Installation

When the engine hood is closed, the distance from it to the fenders should be the same on both sides; the distance from the hood to the surface under the windshield should also be approximately the same everywhere. The hood should match the height of the wings.

To adjust, loosen the bolts between the hinge and the hood.

Move the hood. To avoid scratching the varnish coating, place rags in the corners, closer to the windshield.

The rubber stop at the front, near the hood, must be screwed in or out so that the hood, when closed, is at the same height as the fenders.
