Tools and equipment (VW Golf 1)

In addition to the tool listed in the chapter "Basic rules for carrying out work", to perform some of the operations described in this chapter you will need the following:

Telescopic ruler - for checking the alignment of the front wheels.
Ball joint puller - for separating the steering tie rod joint from the steering knuckle (drawing L:3).
