Oil should be changed every 7500 km or every 6 months if the mileage is less. The oil filter is changed at the same time.

Oil drain

Warm up the engine to operating temperature (oil temperature 80 degrees.).

Raise the vehicle to a horizontal position.

Remove the engine cover.

Place a container underneath to collect the old oil.

Unscrew the threaded plug 3 turns.

Drain the oil completely.

Drain the oil completely.

(17-042) unscrew the oil filter.

The filter has two pins at the bottom. Insert a screwdriver between these pins and unscrew the filter.

Filling with oil

Follow the instructions on the oil filter.

Clean the engine sealing surface.

Lubricate the rubber filter gasket with a thin layer of motor oil.

Screw on the new filter (15 Nm) by hand, then tighten.

Install the engine cover.

Fill with oil. 4.5 liters of oil is required.

Attention! The oil level indicator should never be located beyond the "max" mark.

To better monitor the long-term behavior of the engine, when adding oil, always use the same type of oil and, if possible, the same brand.

The random use of different types of oil has an adverse effect. Motor oils of the same type but different brands should not be mixed if possible. Motor oils of the same type and brand but different viscosity can be added without fear when changing seasons. If the car is constantly used in dusty areas or in countries with an arctic climate, i.e. where long-term temperatures below -20 degrees are observed, then the oil should be changed more often.

After a test drive, check whether oil is leaking from the oil filter and, if necessary, tighten the filter.
