Remove the oil bath.

Unscrew the bolts securing the oil pump.

(17-005) disassemble the pump. The lateral clearance (see fig.) is 0.05 mm for a new pump, the wear limit is reached at 0.20 mm.

(17-006) check the axial clearance with a steel ruler and template.

Using a screwdriver, separate the suction filter from the pump cover. Replace the seal, clean the mesh.

Tighten the mounting bolts according to Fig. 17-080.
