attention! The connections of the outlet fuel lines do not correspond to those given in fig. 23-171. The connection in the upper bone of the filter, shown by the arrow, is the fuel outlet to the fuel tank.
Check valve installation
Cut off the 60 mm outlet hose behind the connection to the fuel tank.
attention! If the tank is full, then close the hose behind the fitting with a squeeze so that no fuel flows out.
(3-173) check valve (shown by arrow) insert into the fuel outlet pipe and secure with a clamp.
Attention! The arrows should point towards the fuel tank.
Shorten the existing fuel hose 1 by 60 mm by cutting off the O-ring and install it.
Put a piece of hose 60 mm long on a transparent pipeline.
Disconnect the existing outlet hose from the fuel pump ring fitting, drag it as far as possible into the engine compartment and connect it to the side of the control valve indicated by the arrow.
Install a new outlet hose 5x3x700 mm between the fuel pump and the control valve.
