Adjusting the gas thrust (VW Transporter T3)

Press the gas pedal all the way down. Then, with the pedal in this position, adjust the gas rod by moving the stopper (see fig.) so that the fuel pump lever rests against the stop without tension.



In some models, the thrust is adjusted using the gas pedal:

• raise the front of the car.
• remove the gas pedal cover.
• unscrew the clamp bolt connecting the pedal to the rod, install the rod so that in the full throttle position the fuel pump lever rests against the stop without tension.
• tighten the clamp bolt.
