Instructions: If the fuel filler flap does not open, actuator "4" can be unlocked manually. The actuator can be reached through the gap between the side panel and the partially removed wheel arch liner.

Removal
Unscrew the fuel tank cap "2". Unscrew the bolt "3". Move the cuff "5" from the filler neck of the tank "4". Pull the hatch -1-together with the drain hose in the rear direction "arrow b" from the seat and, turning it, remove it "1" from the sidewall arrow a-.
Installation
The actuator is installed. Insert the drain hose through the hole in the hatch body and pull it all the way through. Pass the drain hose through the side opening. Insert the hatch body "1" into the opening first from the hatch hinge side. Then, turning the hatch body, insert it into the opening so that the locking latches at the top and bottom are in place. Pull the cuff "5" onto the filler neck "4" and tighten the bolt "3". The tightening torque of bolt "2" is 2 Nm.
