Removal and installation the handle cover with the opening key (VW Tiguan 1)

Removal

Remove the luggage compartment door trim. Disconnect connector "6" in the luggage compartment door. Unscrew the hex nuts "5" from the studs of the button on the rear door. Unscrew the bolts "2" and remove the handle cover "1" of the rear door. Disconnect connectors -3 and 4-. If there is a fault in the electrical circuit of the lock, the luggage compartment door can be opened in emergency mode. Emergency opening is performed through the hole in the luggage compartment door trim.

Installation

Connect connectors -3 and 4-. Install handle cover "1" in place and screw hex nuts "5" onto the button studs: tightening torque - 4 Nm. Install connector "6" of the luggage compartment door in place. Tighten bolts "2" of the handle cover with a torque of 2 Nm.
