Place a spanner on the tension roller nut and turn the spanner to loosen the tension on the poly V-belt (Fig. 469). Remove the poly V-belt.
Inspect the poly V-belt: it should not have any damage or cracks. Replace the damaged one. Reinstall the tension roller as described, put on the poly V-belt, install the roller on the poly V-belt. The ribs should match the grooves, and the belt itself should be located in the center of the pulley.
Attention! Do not tighten the poly V-belt when installing it with a screwdriver or any lever on the pulleys, as the belt may immediately lose its strength.
